Series: This is the first game of a four game home series between the Bees and Revolution, and the first of seven straight home games for New Britain. The Bees face the Revolution on Friday and Saturday nights at 6:35 PM and on Sunday at 1:35 PM.

The Bees: New Britain begins the season after completing their exhibition schedule on Sunday with a doubleheader against the Bridgeport Bluefish. The Bees’ 27 man inaugural roster will be announced at noon today, along with the pitching rotation.
The Opposition: The Revolution open their season on the road against New Britain before heading to Bridgewater, New Jersey to face the defending Atlantic League champion Somerset Patriots next week. Notable names on the Revs roster include former MLB players Jason Repko, Jose Arredondo, Luis Perdomo, Joel Guzman, Mike McClendon and Josh Wilson. Last season, York finished with a 64-75 overall record, including an impressive 40-29 second half.

Key to the Game – Welcome to the New Age: The Bees start a New Tradition of professional baseball tonight in New Britain, and the team is very aware of their place in history. Promotions and Special Events: Tonight is the inaugural Opening Night and the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative pennant, and the first of six commemorative pins that the Bees will give out this year. Tonight is also Thirsty Thursday -the Sam Adams Rooftop Bar will be open to all fans and feature drink specials, including half price domestics all night long!! New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart will throw out the ceremonial first pitch along with representatives from the Bees’ corporate sponsors.
