You have to have another team move with hd
be real interesting to see what happens.
any place for them to land temporarily or relocate to permanently?
revisit of carolina league? florida state league?
Wasn’t it the Texas Rangers who came to an agreement with Kinston NC to put a Carolina League team there in the coming years? If so, High Desert happens to be the Cal League team for the Rangers. I am thinking that the HD owner just wants to drag this out in the courts or through arbitration long enough to have the ’16 season. Then he “agrees” to let Adelanto tear up the current lease. Win-win for the owner. He gets the ’16 season, then gets out of his lease so he can move the team without penalty.. And the council is probably not smart enough to realize that by doing this, they are helping the owner and damaging their own situation. They will just end up with an empty stadium.
