PRESS RELEASE – The Bradenton Marauders today announced the 2016 promotional schedule for weekly and daily promotions. Single game tickets for the 2016 Bradenton Marauders season will go on sale on Monday, February 22 at 9:00 a.m. The Marauders open the 2016 regular season on Saturday, April 9 at 6:30 p.m.
Recurring weekly promotions in 2016 will be Family Fun Sundays, Thirsty Thursdays sponsored by Budweiser and Ticket Sarasota, and Baseball Bingo presented by Jersey Mike’s Subs and PLS Print at Saturday games. After all Sunday games, kids 12 and younger will get to run the bases during the Kids Fun Run presented by Mosaic. Fans attending Thursday games will enjoy $1 select drafts and $1 sodas.
The Marauders 2016 home opener is Saturday, April 9 at 6:30 p.m. against the Fort Myers Miracle. The game will be Pirates and Princesses Night featuring horse and carriage rides and princess appearances. Bright House Networks and Budweiser present postgame fireworks on opening night.
The 2016 My Suncoast Bark in the Park series presented by ABC 7 will be held on April 15, May 21, June 16, July 24, and August 28. Bark badges will cost an additional $2 on the price of admission with the proceeds benefitting the Humane Society of Manatee County. The game on May 21 will be Adoption Night, when fans can adopt a dog in need of a new home.
Popular annual promotions returning in 2016 include Halfway to Halloween on April 15, Faith & Family Night with a postgame concert by Peter Furler and his band on May 20, Superhero Night on May 21, Military Appreciation Night presented by Miller High Life and Goodwill Manasota on June 11, and the Sixth Annual Condiment Duel on July 22. Star Wars Night returns to McKechnie Field on July 23, featuring appearances by characters from the iconic science fiction film franchise and a jersey auction to raise money for the South Florida Museum’s Manatee Care Program. The nationally renowned ZOOperstars! entertainment troupe will perform at McKechnie Field for the first time on June 10.
The First Mates Kids Club is open for membership to children ages 12 and younger. It costs just $5 to join and features a ticket to five select Sunday games and the opportunity to participate in an exclusive experience at each game, including Baseball Buddies, Catch on the Field, and a Meet the Team event! Kids Club members also receive a complimentary club t-shirt, a membership card, 15 percent off merchandise at the team store, and a Kids Menu at the concession stands for Sunday games.
Tickets to the best 2016 promotional nights are available now as part of the new All-You-Can-Eat five game ticket plans. Each plan features tickets to five of the most highly anticipated home games, an all-you-can-eat food package for the five games, and two free gifts. In addition to a Marauders cap, purchasers of the five game plans will receive a Snooty the Manatee bobblehead. Snooty, the official mascot of Manatee County, is celebrating his 68th birthday this year. Prices for the five game plans start as low as $55 for bleacher seating. Baseline Box ticket packages are $65. Infield Box and Infield Reserve sections are $75. The all-you-can-eat food package includes unlimited hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, soda, and bottled water, making the five game plans an unbeatable value.
Tickets for Marauders games cost $10 per seat in infield box and infield reserve sections. Tickets cost $8 in baseline box sections. Tickets will cost $6 in the Left Field Bleachers.
Marauders season and group ticket packages are on sale now. Marauders season tickets cost $350 for all 70 regular season home games. Season ticket members receive numerous great benefits, including the ability to exchange unused past or future tickets to any future 2016 Marauders regular season game. Groups of 10 or more will receive a free 32oz souvenir cup with one free fountain drink fill-up and a complimentary adjustable Marauders cap.
The McKechnie Field box office hours are from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on week days when there is not a Pirates Spring Training home game until March 30. On weekends, the box office will be open from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. when there is not a home game. Spring Training day-of-game box office hours will be 9:00 a.m. until 30 minutes after the final out.
