PRESS RELEASE – The fans of the DuPage Prospect League baseball team have voted on their new team’s identity. With over 57% support amongst the seven options, the DuPage Drones new logo was selected to represent the new team and community.
The Soaring logo is representative of the family friendly recreational device, as well as emblematic of soaring to new heights, which is what the DuPage Drones baseball team looks to achieve and incorporate into their operations.
Drones Co-General Mangers Evan Gersonde and Mitch Kukay were in attendance at the event. “We are excited to unveil the new logo at the Lisle State of the Village address. The county of DuPage has been very welcoming and supportive, and we look forward to a great partnership between Drones Baseball and all of DuPage County,” said Gersonde.
The DuPage Drones will make their franchise home debut in the Prospect League on May 28th, 2016 when the team plays at the Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sport Complex against the Danville Dans, one of the most historical teams in the league which features MLB alumni including Jonathan Papelbon, Chris Coghlan, and Mitch Moreland.
The Prospect League is recognized as one of the top leagues in America as Baseball America ranks the league 4th out of 50 leagues in regards to future MLB talent.
Drones team merchandise will be unveiled by the team along with their uniforms this in early Spring.
