Joining the Hot Rods front office staff are new faces in three departments. Jordan Gracey will head the Hot Rods Creative Services department and will be responsible for all video and graphic design production as well as game entertainment. Gracey joins the team after working for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (AA Affiliate – Kansas City Royals) during the 2015 season. He also holds experience in the music and television industry.
Tyler Lenz has been appointed Head Groundskeeper after serving as the Assistant Director of Grounds for the Richmond Flying Squirrels (AA Affiliate – San Francisco Giants) in 2015. Prior to his time in Richmond, Lenz also worked for the West Michigan Whitecaps (A Affiliate – Detroit Tigers) and Texas Rangers.
The team’s Ballpark Operations will be under the direction of Mark Link. Link joins the Hot Rods after spending the previous nine seasons with the Reno Aces (AAA Affiliate – Arizona Diamondbacks). He has worked for Hot Rods owners, Stuart and Jerry Katzoff, for over 30 years in various capacities. In addition to overseeing the ballpark, Link will also assist with the facility management of Stadium Park Plaza.
“The additions we have been able to make in adding Jordan, Tyler and Mark to our staff this offseason has been tremendous for our growth as a staff,” said Hot Rods General Manager/COO, Adam Nuse. “Each of them brings an incredible amount of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to their positions and with that we hope to increase the fan’s experience here at the ballpark.”
In addition to the new hires, the Hot Rods also promoted three seasonal sales assistants to full time roles. Zach Darst will now serve as the Season Ticket Manager. Daniel “Beans” Langdon has been promoted to Group Sales Manager. And Kyle Wolz has been elevated to Box Office Manager.
“Anytime you are able to promote within your organization is a positive not only for your employees, but also to the culture of the office,” said Nuse. “I am incredibly proud of these three and it’s a testament to their work ethic that helped them earn their promotions.”
The Hot Rods open their eighth season in Southcentral Kentucky on Thursday, April 7th against the Dayton Dragons. Holiday packs and season tickets are now available for the 2016 season at the Hot Rods front office and online at BGHotRods.com.
