Demolition of Candlestick Park Nearly Complete

San Francisco Giants Logo OrangeCandlestick Park, the former home of the San Francisco Giants, is nearly gone.  Only a few sections of the 55-year-old stadium remain standing as a months-long demolition is underway, making room for a new mall and housing units.  Read more and view destruction and old construction photos here.  Thanks to Joe DeLeonard for the link.

  1. When is Rome going to complete the demolition of the Colosseum? It seems to be taking a very long time.

    I watched both baseball and football at the stadium. Good riddance! O’Malley’s Dodger stadium is still there.
