PRESS RELEASE – With help from the Northwoods League Foundation, the Green Bay Bullfrogs now provide seating options for fans in wheelchairs and their companions. The new seating will be located in front of sections 104 and 107.
Fans that purchase tickets in this area will also be able to check out iPads with headphones to enjoy the game webcast and order concessions. Additionally, second-year Field Manager, Darrell “Skip” Handelsman, will be available to these fans to answer questions during a mid-inning Q&A session. These tickets are $8.00 and can be purchased over the phone at 920-497-7225 or at Joannes Stadium Ticket Booth.
“We are very excited to partner with the NWL foundation to provide this new seating venue” said Bullfrogs GM Liz Kern. “This is a great enhancement to the ballpark experience.”
In 2014, the Northwoods League Foundation helped fund wheelchair accessible seating at Witter Field, home of the Wisconsin Rapid Rafters. The Northwoods League Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that’s main mission is to support local charities and fund projects to support baseball communities.
“This is our second venture into Interactive Handicapped Accessible Seating in the Northwoods League. I applaud Liz and her staff for her foresight integrating this venue into Joannes Stadium and can’t wait to visit and view it this summer”, said NWL President Dick Radatz, Jr.
The Bullfrogs will open up the 2015 season at home on May 26th against the La Crosse Loggers. Group tickets, season tickets and 7-game packages are on sale now. The Bullfrogs off-season hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. For more information please visit http://www.greenbaybullfrogs.com.
