Saints Bring Tailgating Experience to CHS Field, Parking Aplenty

St. Paul Saints Hat LogoPRESS RELEASE – In advance of next week’s opening series festivities, the Saints are pleased to announce the availability of tailgating in close proximity to CHS Field. In addition to the tailgating lot, the Saints also have arranged for convenient preferred parking at locations near the ballpark.

The Saints tailgating lot is located at the corner of the newly created Lafayette St. and Prince St., just off Kellogg Blvd. The Saints lot can hold more than 500 automobiles, a similar number to the parking lot at Midway Stadium. It is located just a couple of blocks from the 4th St. entrance to CHS Field, the gate located on the outfield side of the ballpark. Tailgating parking will be $8 a spot and fans can bring grills, food and beverages into the lot.

Along with the Saints tailgating lot there are three other preferred lots within a few blocks of CHS Field, accessible from any direction. The St. Mary’s Catholic Church and First Baptist Church lots are most easily accessed from the north and will be $7. These lots are just four blocks from CHS Field and are located directly off the Wacouta St. exit from I-35E at 9th St. The Lowertown Ramp is $5, also just four blocks to the Broadway entrance, near the corner of Kellogg Blvd. Eastand Jackson St and offers easy ingress/egress to I-94 West

Fans will have other parking options, including the Union Depot lot, located on Kellogg Blvd. between Wall and Wacouta Streets, just two and a half blocks from CHS Field, which has approximately 1,000 spots.

In all there are roughly 3,000 parking spots within a four block radius of the ballpark, and more than 6,000 spots within a six block radius.

The Saints will open CHS Field on Thursday evening May 21 at 7:05 p.m. against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks.

Saints tickets continue to be a tremendous value. Tickets begin at $5 for berm seating (available on day of game), $6 for bleacher seats, $12 for the drink rail, $14 for outfield reserved, $16 for infield reserved and $18 for home plate reserved. Friday Home Games with Post-Game Fireworks are an additional $2 per ticket. Post-Game Fireworks Supershows (May 24, July 4 and September 6) are an additional $3 per ticket. Tickets purchased on the day of the game are an additional $2 per ticket. Children under the age of 12 and seniors 65 and older receive $1 off the admission price. Saints Box Office hours on non-game days are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. On game days, the Box Office will open at 9 a.m. Sunday through Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday and will remain open until 15 minutes following each game.
