PRESS RELEASE – The Green Bay Bullfrogs have released their full promotional schedule for the 2015 season. The 2015 schedule is packed full of entertainment with three amazing fireworks shows, three one-of-a-kind bobblehead giveaways, brand new entertainment acts, big name celebrities, and fun theme nights and giveaways. As promised, the Bullfrogs will provide affordable, family oriented entertainment and are excited to offer a ballpark experience unlike any other again this summer.
The Bullfrogs will take the field at Joannes Stadium for opening night on Tuesday, May 26th against the La Crosse Loggers. Cellcom opening day will feature a magnet schedule giveaway at the gates and Festival Foods Big Cart. Wednesday, May 27th is guaranteed win night at Joannes Stadium. If the Bullfrogs do not win every fan in attendance will receive a free ticket to a future game. Thursday, May 28th will be Delton Grand Wisconsin Dells Night, with 1,000 coupon books and hotel stays handed out at the door for summer getaways. The Bullfrogs will wrap up opening week on Friday, May 29th with Aurora BayCare Medical Center Strike Out Stroke Awareness night featuring one of last year’s favorite entertainment acts, the ZOOperstars.
The Bullfrogs will feature three very unique bobblehead giveaways for the 2015 season. Thursday, June 18th will feature Festival Foods Cheesehead Jeremiah bobblehead giveaway. Aurora BayCare Medical Center presents Patient Jeremiah bobblehead giveaway on Thursday, June 23rd. The 2015 bobblehead series will come to a close on July 31st with the WFRV Train Conductor Jeremiah bobblehead giveaway.
The Bullfrogs will feature three fantastic firework shows in 2015. The firework series will open up on Saturday, June 6th with a repeat performance the following Saturday, June 13th. The 2015 firework series will conclude on July 3rd, as the Bullfrogs launch Green Bay into their 4th of July weekend with a firework show following Friday night’s game. All fireworks shows are presented by Pepsi.
Two celebrity wrestlers will be making appearances at Joannes stadium this upcoming summer. The first appearance will come Thursday, July 9th, which will feature a celebrity appearance by Jerry “The King” Lawler. The second celebrity wrestler to grace Green Bay with his presence will be Ted “The Million Dollar Man” DiBiase on August 6th.
Once again 2015 will be packed full of entertainment acts, which will start with the ZOOperstars first appearance on May 29th. Saturday, June 6th will then feature the return of the Human Cannonball to Joannes Stadium to partner with the post-game firework show. The ZOOperstars will return for a second time again this summer on June 25th to partner with the City of Green Bay Kids Day. The series of popular entertainment acts for 2015 will come to a close on July 24th when Miller Lite presents Christmas in July featuring the Dueling Pianos.
Theme Nights and Giveaways
Lastly, 2015 will feature a number of fun theme nights and giveaways. Monday, June 1st will feature princess night and all kids 12 and under dressed up will get a free ticket to the game. Friday, June 5th will be social media night featuring several giveaways throughout the course of the night. Monday, June 8th will be Star Wars Night at the ballpark, and all kids 12 and under dressed up will receive a free ticket. This year’s educator appreciation night will fall on Friday, June 12th and will feature ticket specials for all educators that show an ID. Saturday, June 13th will be Jockey Being Family Superhero Night, featuring superhero uniforms that will be auctioned off following the game. Sunday, June 14th Luxemburg Pet Clinic will present this year’s bark in the park game, featuring a dog bandana giveaway. Fans are welcome and encouraged to bring well-behaved dogs that are up to date with vaccines and licensed to the game. On Wednesday, June 17th the Bullfrogs will turn back the clock and wear Green Bay Blue Ribbon uniforms, which will be auctioned off following the game. June 21st will be Brew Pub Pizza Father’s Day featuring a baseball giveaway at the gates. June 22nd will then be a Summerween themed game, and all kids 12 and under dressed up in Halloween costumes will receive a free ticket. Tuesday, June 23rd is the 2015 summertime St. Patty’s day and go green theme night. Friday, June 26th is UW Health Organ Night featuring organ donation.
On top of wrestling night with Jerry “The King” Lawler, July 9th will also feature Diamonds & Gold Diamond Dig, where the first ladies entering the ballpark will receive an ice cream scoop to dig up a buried diamond in the infield after the game. Friday, July 10th will be this year’s Military Appreciation Night featuring patriotic uniforms to be auctioned off after the game. Sunday, July 19th will be EMS appreciation day, presented by Aurora BayCare. July 24th is this year’s Christmas in July game. Monday, July 27th will be Gallagher’s Pizza Night featuring a thunderstick giveaway at the gates. Tuesday, July 28th will be a player trading card giveaway as fans enter the ballpark. Wednesday, July 29th is a double header, with the 11:35 am game being this year’s child care day, Clifford the Dog will be joining for the day game. The evening game on July 29 will start at 7:05 pm and will be N.E.W. Landscaping & Lawn Care Team Poster Giveaway. July 30th will be Pagel’s Ponderosa Dairy Night and will feature custom uniforms that will be auctioned off following the game. The 2015 regular season will end on August 7th with Cellcom Fan Appreciation night which will feature the Festival Foods Big Cart.
The Green Bay Bullfrogs will host the 2nd annual Curdfest at Joannes Stadium on August 2nd. This event will run from noon until 4 pm. There will be cheese curd vendors in the ballpark as well as concessions. This event will be free admission to the public.
