Pippins’ Offices Moving Downtown

Yakima Valley Pippins PrimaryPRESS RELEASE – While the Yakima Valley Pippins continue to make preparations for the 2015 season, the club reached an important milestone Tuesday, by announcing that the team office is moving to downtown Yakima.

Yakima Valley Pippins Moving OfficesThe new location, which will also house Hunky Shaw’s Team Shop, will be situated inside the Larson Building (12 S. 2nd Street), across from the new Cowiche Canyon Restaurant, adjacent to Kana Winery’s tasting room. The new home of Pippins Baseball is scheduled to open Monday, March 2nd, with an official ribbon cutting ceremony later in the month.

“We are excited to relocate to such an up-and-coming location in downtown Yakima,” said team president Zachary Fraser. “State Fair Park was a great place to start building community presence. Now, we look forward to an increase in public visibility at our new location.”

The team’s current office, located on the campus of State Fair Park, will be closed Thursday, February 26th to accommodate the move. Meanwhile, the team shop has begun selling select merchandise up to 40% off the regular price–with the bargains continuing at the new location.

The 2014 East Division Champions are busy preparing for next season and want you to be involved. The 2015 season begins on June 5th, and season tickets are currently on sale as well as our full retail line at our offices at the State Fair Park.
