The Cincinnati Reds are working with their information technology people to set up WiFi throughout Great American Ball Park. It will likely be operating sometime between Opening Day on April 6 and the July 14 All-Star Game. Read more here.

It will be interesting to see if having wifi throughout the stadium adds to the bottom line. (I’m not sure exactly how you would measure that, but I’m sure it can be done.) Have they considered “wifi insurance” which will cover the legal and medical costs of the fan who is posting to Facebook when he gets clocked by a foul ball?
