PRESS RELEASE – MKE Sports & Entertainment is pleased to announce the selection of Jenna Plummer as Business Manager of the Kokomo Jackrabbits.
“We’re extremely happy to have Jenna join the Jackrabbits,” said MKE Sports & Entertainment VP of Operations Dan Kuenzi. “I’m confident that her business and financial acuity will strengthen the team as a whole. She is a wonderful addition not only to the Jackrabbits but to the Kokomo community.”
Plummer will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the team, as well as marketing, business and game day development. Plummer, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College in May of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports business. Just prior to graduation she served as a Community Marketing Associate for Dick’s Sporting Goods and fulfilled a summer internship with the Prospect League’s West Virginia Miners.
“I am thrilled and humbled to have the opportunity to be a part of the start of something new for the city of Kokomo,” said Plummer. “The city of Kokomo is something special and it is really exciting to be on board for the beginning of it all. This summer is going to be electrifying with the Jackrabbits in town and I could not be more eager for the season to start.”
The Kokomo Jackrabbits are also pleased to welcome Community First Bank of Indiana as the teams first partner. Community First Bank of Indiana will not only be the official bank of the Kokomo Jackrabbits, it will present the Kokomo Jackrabbits Kids Club which offers free and paid membership options for children 12 years of age and under.
“On behalf of Community First Bank of Indiana, I am both excited and proud to partner with the Kokomo Jackrabbits organizations as they begin to write the next chapter in Kokomo and Howard County’s long and proud baseball tradition,” said Community First Bank President Robert D. Blume. “We are especially looking forward to the opportunities to entertain and interact with our customers, shareholders and the entire community at the jackrabbit games.”
