PRESS RELEASE – In conjunction with The Junior League of Jackson, the Mississippi Braves are proud to announce that Touch A Truck Jackson will be held at Trustmark Park Friday, April 24 through Saturday, April 25, 2015.
The two-day event is a unique educational opportunity, allowing kids the chance to explore, climb on and touch large trucks, equipment, emergency vehicles and more. The event teaches kids about Mississippi’s economy as they learn about various career paths including manufacturing, farming and construction.
“We’re excited to partner with Touch A Truck Jackson and bring this event to Trustmark Park this year,” said M-Braves General Manager Steve DeSalvo. “Anytime we can partner with local charities and organizations, it’s great and this was the perfect opportunity to bring a unique, educational program to our venue. It will be a huge success for all involved.”
Construction and utility trucks along with ambulances, farm equipment and diggers will be on site for kids to explore. More details will be released soon.
