Kokomo (IN) city officials have submitted a corrective action plan in response to letters from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) telling them to stop construction on the new $11.5 million baseball stadium being built for the summer collegiate Kokomo Jackrabbits (Prospect League) because the site is in a flood-prone area of town. The plan has been reviewed by the IDHS and delivered to FEMA. State Sen. Jim Buck (R-Kokomo) remains at odds with the city. Read more here.
