PRESS RELEASE – The Great West League is pleased to announce the appointment of Marco Aspaas as the league’s Director of Media and Digital Communications.
League president Ken Wilson made the announcement. “Marco is not only experienced and enthusiastic, but he loves the game of baseball,” noted Wilson. “We’re pleased to have him as part of our GWL team.”
Over his 25-year career he has worked for a number of companies, including Trammel Crow, the Seattle Mariners, Young’s Market Company, the Oregon Brewery and Church & Dwight, with his most recent work focusing on web design and development.
A Vancouver, Washington-native, Aspaas attended Fort Vancouver High School and starred in baseball, named to the All-County and All-Regional teams in 1989. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Washington State University in 1993.
Aspaas makes his home in Vancouver.
