PRESS RELEASE – Restorations are underway as the Blowfish Baseball Club announced today that the team will open a brand new office in downtown Lexington on December 15.
“Blowfish On Main” will be located at 101 East Main Street next to Craig Reagin Clothiers on the corner of Main and Church Street. The historic building, built in 1918, will serve as the primary workplace for the Blowfish front office staff, ticket outlet and retail shop.
“With the new stadium opening the end of April, we have been searching for a new base of operations, and wanted somewhere that was centrally located,” Blowfish Owner Bill Shanahan said. “We are excited to finally make the move into Lexington County! It is truly a blessing to have this high visibility location in the heart of downtown.”
In addition to being the Blowfish central headquarters, the location will be a place where fans can purchase Blowfish tickets and merchandise just in time for the holiday season. Fans will also be able to track progress of the Lexington County Baseball Stadium construction, get the latest news on community events and promotions, view the latest renderings and interact with the Blowfish staff members.
General Manager Kelly Evans said, “We are honored to be a part of the exciting growth in Lexington County! Blowfish Baseball is about affordable family fun, and we want our new location to reflect that.”
Official date of Grand Opening for “Blowfish on Main” is December 15th. 2015 Season tickets on sale soon! Stay tuned to our website and social media sites for updates.
