While the article states that the City of Hillsboro never intended for the stadium to turn a profit but rather provide a service to the community, the article doesn’t indicate if the stadium is losing more money than planned or expected. Having a baseball team and a venue for other outdoor entertainment is a great service to the community, but is it worth the almost half million dollars they spend each year?
