A new unidentified investor has agreed to take the lead on Oakland’s Coliseum City project. Oakland A’s co-owner Lew Wolff has expressed doubts about Coliseum City and said that if his team is to consider building a new ballpark at the Coliseum site it would want to control the development project. Wolff has no choice but to sit this out
Even if he got involved, a new A’s Ballpark is not a priority for years to come under this plan.
Coliseum City does the A’s no favors. Oakland favors the Raiders. I’m to the point that the Raiders must go and then hopefully Oakland would then let Wolff develop a new stadium on his own, with a more modest amount of development. C.C, is ridiculously massive.
