Lemurs Announce Two-Game Sister Cities Classic

Laredo Lemurs LogoNuevo Laredo TecolotoesThe indy pro Laredo Lemurs (American Association) and Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo (Liga del Norte) will battle it out in the two-game Sister Cities Baseball Classic.  The first game will be played at Uni-Trade Stadium on November 6, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.  The teams will then travel just across the border for a game at Parque La Junta Field on November 7, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.  Read more here.  View Parque La Junta Field street view.

    This seems like a fun idea, but can you really bring your players back for two games in November??? (I’m not sure, but I imagine the Liga del Norte plays in the fall.) This wouldn’t be cool for me if I were a player, or an agent.
