BaseballParks.com webmaster and USA Today Sports Weekly writer Joe Mock visited Southwest University Park last Thursday night to present the owners of the Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas (Pacific Coast League) with a plaque for winning Baseballparks.com’s 2014 Ballpark of the Year award. Representatives from the team, City of El Paso and Kansas City (MO)-based Populous architectural firm were on hand for the third-inning ceremony in front of a packed house of 8,740 fans.
