Return of Minor League Baseball Back on Dubuque Radar

Dubuque should indeed get a baseball team once again. My guess is that they are hoping for a Midwest League team. The Beloit Snappers are certainly most likely to relocate at this point–if they don’t renovate Pohlman Field. As much of a shame as it would be to see the Snappers go, Pohlman would be well-suited for the Wisconsin-heavy Northwoods League. The Northwoods would also be the best backup option for Dubuque. The Waterloo Bucks would be a great rival, and the NWL is certainly looking to expand in all directions.
AlMaFI, wow! A well written, knowledgeable comment about baseball in the upper Midwest– I’m impressed. I also got a good laugh from the Dubuque Packers logo. I had to enlarge it a bit to see what it was. Try this at home yourself, it’s worth the little bit of effort.
