Fans of the summer collegiate Wilmington Sharks (Coastal Plain League) entered Buck Hardee Field on Wednesday for the home opener with excitement not only for baseball but also to see the park’s renovations, including a new scoreboard, new box seating, new backstop and netting installation, and replacement of the current audio system.
