Phillies Raise Over $900K to Fight Lou Gehrig’s Disease

Philadelphia Phillies LogoThe Philadelphia Phillies held their annual Phestival at the ballpark Monday, where about 7,000 fans helped the team raise a record $904,732 to fight against Lou Gehrig‘s disease.  This year marks the 75th anniversary of Gehrig’s famous speech after being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).  Read more here.
