University of California-Irvine baseball Superfan Keith Franklin has been banned from Anteater home games after he rushed the field when Head Coach Mike Gillespie earned his 1,000th career victory. There appears to be much more to the story, however, including an alleged Facebook fight between Franklin and a major donor to the program.
Franklin certainly hasn’t given up on the Anteaters. He has taken to the road to will his favorite team to victory, and his antics appear to be welcome (or at least tolerated) by players, fans and officials at the away parks.
