Study Includes Renovations for Lawrence-Dumont Stadium

A $3 billion wish list of projects to grow the quality of life in Wichita (KS) includes $49 million for major improvements to 79-year-old Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, home of the indy pro Wichita Wingnuts (American Association) and the NBC World Series.  Read more here.  Meanwhile, the City Council will vote next Tuesday to transfer the assets of the National Baseball Congress to the non-profit NBC Baseball Foundation, incorporated by the city in 2013.  Read more here.
