PRESS RELEASE – On Monday, May 5 the San Jose Giants will bring Mexican culture and cuisine to Municipal Stadium for the first-ever Mexican Heritage Night, presented by VivaFest! and Mundo Fox. The entire night will be a celebration of the Mexican culture with food, vendor booths and giveaways.
“Our cultural theme nights are always fan-favorites and we are excited to bring Mexican Heritage Night to our ballpark this season on Cinco de Mayo.” said Juliana Paoli, Chief Marketing Officer of the San Jose Giants. “This is a great opportunity for fans to come to the park and not only enjoy some baseball, but also experience great Mexican food and culture.”
As part of the festivities the Giants will be wearing special Gigantes jerseys [view San Francisco Giagantes jersey here] when they take on the Modesto Nuts at 7:00 PM. The jerseys will be part of an in-game silent auction where the highest bidders will be able to go on the field following the game and receive their new autographed jersey right off the respective San Jose Giant’s back.

The San Jose Giants next homestand begins Monday, May 5 as the team will host the Modesto Nuts for four games, before the Inland Empire 66ers visit Municipal Stadium for a three game series.
