Ancient Artifacts Uncovered at Site of Future Sulphur Dell Ballpark

Experts say an excavation at the site of Nashville’s future Sulphur Dell ballpark for the Triple-A Nashville Sounds (Pacific Coast League) uncovered ancient artifacts, including broken pottery from a salt factory dating back to 1150 A.D.  Despite the discovery, digging to find more artifacts has stopped and construction of the ballpark is moving forward.  Read more and view photos here.
