  1. That may be the major crime is that the ballpark will be left to rot in the city of Newark. The fans of New Jersey are not willing to spend the afternoon or evening watching minor league baseball in Newark, especially, when there are a myriad of options in the state. I often wonder what would have been if the Yankees were allowed to operate its AAA team at Riverfront a couple of years ago, could have this been a renaissance or would fans have turned away once the Can-Am League returned? I hope someone down the road can come in and make things happen, but until that day comes, Riverfront Stadium join the blithe of the city.

What will happen to Riverfront stadium?
