Mainers Announce New Broadcasting and Media Chief

Sanford Mainers LogoPRESS RELEASE – The Mainers are excited to announce their new Director of Broadcasting and Media, Jeff Bowe. Bowe, 29, graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Communication Studies and has since worked for the California Winter League as a baseball broadcaster, stat keeper and P.A. announcer in Palm Springs.

Most recently, he provided camera operation and production for the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League and play-by-play for the University of Southern California Hockey team while working with Black Dog Enterprises.

Bowe, completed two seasons as sideline reporter for San Jose State football on “The Spartan Radio Network” flagship station, 1590 KLIV, and was a part of broadcasting the record breaking eleven win season for San Jose State University football.

Bowe’s successes include noteworthy awards such as “Radio and Television News Association Golden Mike Award” from 2008 and the “Associated Press Mark Twain Award” in 2009 for his work at 90.1 KSAK.
