Sky Sky Release 2014 Promo Schedule

PRESS RELEASE – Baseball season in Colorado Springs is almost here and as the winter begins to come to an end the Colorado Springs Sky Sox have announced their 2014 promotional schedule to help warm the hearts of baseball fans in the Front Range. The home slate begins on Friday, April 11 as the Sky Sox take on the Round Rock Express and the season is packed full of exciting and entertaining promotions that promise to be the best in the team’s 27-year history.

Highlighting the 2014 promotional calendar are a whopping 18 fireworks shows, the most in Sky Sox history! In addition to the Sky Sox’ popular Friday Fireworks series (13 Fridays in total) the team will also have Independence fireworks on the perennial sell out game on Thursday, July 3^rd, and select Saturdays throughout the year. Saturday fireworks shows will include entertaining themes with live character appearances and performances including Star Wars on June 28, Star Trek on July 26, and Batman on August 23 for Sky Fest, the biggest fireworks show of the year.

Fans will also want to secure their tickets for major events like Opening Weekend (April 11-13), Used Car Night on Saturday, July 12^th, and Todd Helton Mini-Statue giveaway on Saturday, August 9^th. In addition to these major event nights, the Sky Sox will also be welcoming back their popular day-of-the-week promotions including six Kids Eat Free Mondays, eight $2 Tuesdays, nine $3 Craft Brew Thursdays and eleven 50¢ hot dog Sundays.

All this adds up to one exciting season at Security Service Field. Single game tickets will be going on sale online on Monday, March 17^th so fans can still get a jump on the crowds by reserving their seats in advance to the biggest and best games of the year with season ticket packages.
