PRESS RELEASE – The Springfield Cardinals have announced the Fan-Made-Franks Hot Dog Creation Contest, giving fans the opportunity to design a hot dog that will be featured at Hammons Field throughout the 2014 season.
The winner of the contest will receive –
-Their hot dog will be crowned the Fan Favorite Hot Dog
-Their Fan Favorite Hot Dog will be available at Hammons Field all season
-One free Fan Favorite Hot Dog per homestand in 2014
-Luxury Suite during 2014 Opening Weekend
-Recognition on the Video Board
-A Ceremonial First Pitch
-An interview on the Springfield Cardinals Radio Broadcast
Hot dog recipe submissions will be collected today through Friday, Feb. 14. Submissions are encouraged to be creative but also feasible to implement at the ballpark. The Hammons Field culinary team will pick four finalists that will advance to the fan voting round.
To submit your recipe, fill out the submission form (click the link below) and email it to Coordinator of Fan Interaction Faith Lorhan at florhan@cardinals.com or bring it by the Cardinals Front Office at Hammons Field.
Fans will be able to vote on the finalists from Tuesday, Feb. 18 through Thursday, Feb. 20 on the Springfield Cardinals Facebook Fan Page or by coming by the Front Office. The winner will be announced on Friday, Feb. 21. The three runners-up will receive four free tickets to an Opening Weekend game with an on-field recognition.
Please adhere to the following guidelines –
-The submission must include a hot dog and a title to be eligible (remember, creative but feasible)
-One submission per fan
-Fans may vote one time per day
-By participating, entrants grant the Springfield Cardinals and Hammons Field the right to create, promote and sell their hot dog, and agree to release the Springfield Cardinals from any and all claims and royalties concerning this contest.
