San Jose Finally Sues MLB Over A’s

The city of San Jose (CA) has filed a federal lawsuit against Major League Baseball disputing MLB’s exemption to federal antitrust law, which MLB has used as a “guise” to control the location of teams, according to the suit.  City officials have grown increasingly frustrated with MLB’s delay in having team owners vote on the Oakland Athletics’ proposed move to a new ballpark in San Jose.  Read more here.
