A Single-A Option for Ottawa?

Eastern League LogoNewYorkPennLeagueLogoAn Ottawa city committee heard that there is at least one team ready to submit a proposal to bring baseball back to the city, pending $10 million to $30 million in funding for Ottawa Stadium upgrades.  Single-A ball is reportedly a possibility.  Read more here and here.

    I think single a would make the most sense as for upgrades people might not like it but the city will have to make sure its up to par.

      The only A league close to Ottawa is the New York-Penn League. Their closest team is the Vermont Lake Monsters, three and a half hours away. A short season league, this might work.
