We’re shovel-ready, the date is set, all systems are go. Let’s build us a ballpark for 2014.
We promise we’ll have photos and videos aplenty to post to our various social media outlets. Plus we’re pretty sure it’ll make all the papers, too.
Those papers already told you that we received unanimous approval from the Board of Supervisors in April. This newsletter just told you that Groundbreaking is in early June. All good. But when are we gonna get to see this…
…in living color, in three dimensions, in our hometown, in reality?
Soon. Real soon, to be more precise. It generally takes about 12 months to build a ballpark of this size, so we expect it to open in all its glory around May of 2014, with Hounds baseball and Cavalry FC soccer, concerts and festivals, high school and youth sports, charity events and community events.
Twenty-fourteen. That’s [quick math] next year. That’s the year in which Loudoun County gets in the game and will never be the same. The Hounds are chompin’ at the bit to be unleashed at our new home in 2014.
