Hawks Host 4th Annual Blues, Brews and BBQ

Boise Hawks LogoPRESS RELEASE – What better way to kick off the summer than enjoying a BBQ with family and friends! Your Boise Hawks will be hosting their 4th Annual Blues, Brews and BBQ event this Saturday, June 1, at Memorial Stadium to benefit The Idaho Humane Society.

Boise Hawks 4th Annual BBBGates will open at 11:30 a.m. Tickets start at just $7.00 for admission, one soda and an ice cream or $10.00 for admission, a beer mug and two sample tickets. Those who choose to bring a bag of cat or dog food for the Humane Society will receive two extra sampling tickets along with their admission.

There will be seven breweries open with more than twelve beers to choose from for sampling. Brewers include Payette Brew Co., Grand Teton, Highlands Hollow, 10 Barrel, Crooked Fence, Table Rock, and Salmon River. As for the BBQ, there will be three “Barbecue Masters,” including Idaho BBQ, Rolling Hawg Smokers, and Brown Shuga Soul Food.

BBB will feature seven bands from the Treasure Valley throughout the day – including Next in Line, The Marshall Poole Band, Lori B! and the Dudes Deluxe, Phantazmagoria, Jake Leg, The Juke Daddy’s, and The Blues Addicts.

Although the brew is a big part of the day, don’t hesitate to bring the kids! There will be plenty of kid friendly food and drink choices in the Hawks Nest as well as your Boise Hawks bounce house up for the kids to enjoy.
