El Paso Triple-A Baseball Hires GM

Pacific Coast LeagueMountainStar Sports Group has hired Brad Taylor as the new general manager of the Triple-A club relocating from Tucson (AZ) to El Paso (TX).  Taylor is currently the team president and general manager of the Single-A Bowling Green Hot Rods (Midwest League).  Read more here.

  1. These are aweful names. What is wrong with SunKings? This best describes El Paso and it’s weather. If it has to be animal, how about Pintos, Greyhounds, Stallions, Mustangs, Mavericks, Scorpians, Cobras, Rattlers….all which have something to do with West Texas.anything better than your current list.
    How about asking the team players, I am sure they would not be proud to be known as a the Chihuahuas, Ardvarks etc.. Nothing grand in these names. It should be having to do with West Texas, El Paso, nothing Mexican PLEASE! We are in the United States, not Nuevo Juaritos.
