Tailgaters Feel Beer Crackdown at Citi Field

New York Mets LogoNew York City police officers have been patrolling the parking lot at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets, to hand out $25  citations to tailgaters drinking in public.  Drinking alcohol in public has long been banned in New York City and its surrounding areas, but until recently, the law was rarely enforced inside local team stadium parking lots.  Read more here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the link.
