Bismarck (ND) on Deck for Northwoods League

This really isn’t new news, as the summer collegiate Northwoods League has had Bismarck (ND) on its expansion radar for years, but with $1.5 million in renovations approved for Bismarck Municipal Ballpark, things are now heating up.  The catch here will be finding an owner willing to pony up the $1 million franchise fee plus start-up costs.  Municipal Ballpark served as the home of the indy pro Dakota Rattlers from the defunct but once-promising Prairie League in the mid 90s.  Read more here.
