Eyeing Improvements at Bowman Field

Williamsport (PA) Mayor Gabriel J. Campana plans to ask the city council to authorize use of a $2 million line of credit to make improvements, most of them structural and cosmetic, to 86-year-old Bowman Field, home of the Single-a Williamsport Crosscutters (New York-Penn League).  Meanwhile, the team would like to see bleachers removed from the right-field side to make room for a new picnic deck or other outdoor/indoor space.  Read more here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the link.
