PRESS RELEASE – The Hagerstown Suns would like to announce three promotions of key front office personnel. Bob Bruchey will assume the position of Interim General Manager for the 2013 season following the resignation of current General Manager, Bill Farley. Farley steps down from the position he held for three years in order to pursue new opportunities at the end of February.
“I want to thank Mr. Quinn and the rest of the Suns ownership for the opportunity to work here in Hagerstown. It was truly an honor to be part of the Hagerstown Suns. I will miss both working with our fantastic front office staff and cheering along with our fans this summer. Bob is a proven leader in this community- I am confident that the Suns are in good hands.” said Farley.
Bruchey will be responsible for overseeing the daily team and business operations for the upcoming season. “We are fortunate to have a very good experienced senior staff here at the Suns that will continue our efforts to increase Fan and Customer experience at the ballpark and throughout the community. I also want to thank Bill Farley and wish him the best in both his future endeavors and with his upcoming marriage and family plans” says Majority Owner Bruce Quinn.
