It wasn’t quite the NHL’s Winter Classic, but the FHL All-Stars defeated the Williamsport Outlaws 18-13 Wednesday in the Federal Hockey League‘s 2012 All-Star Game at Airmen Pond at Bowman Field, the summer home of the Single-A Williamsport Crosscutters (New York-Penn League). Paul D’Amato who played Tim “Dr. Hook” McCracken in the 1977 movie Slap Shot was the keynote speaker at event’s banquet. Read more here. View game photos here.
