Rattlers Add Three to Front Office

Wisconsin Timber RattlersPRESS RELEASE – The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers front office staff is making almost as many additions as Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium.  The 2012 Midwest League Champions and Larry MacPhail Award winners have announced the addition of three new staff members for the 2013 season.

Jenny Smith is the first Banquet Facilities Manager in team history.  She will oversee the sales and operations of the new year-round banquet facility on the soon to be completed second level at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium.  She is currently booking events, which include weddings, corporate meetings, parties, reunions, and receptions.  Smith started her event coordination career at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in 2002.  She had been the General Manager of the Marriott Residence Inn for four years before joining the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Rebecca Sievers has joined the Timber Rattlers as a Group Sales Representative.  She had worked in the concession stands at the home of the Rattlers for five summers prior to joining the team full time.  The Appleton native is a 2012 graduate of St. Norbert College.  Sievers will work with groups of 20 or more on planning their outings at Rattlers’ games.

Tim Hansen has been hired as the Executive Chef for the team.  He will be in charge of food preparation in the new banquet facility and the VIP Suites that will be available in 2013.  Hansen, who was born in Lawrence, Kansas, joins the team from the Good Company Restaurant Group where he was the Executive Chef for Waterfront Banquets and Kitchen Manager for Pullmans Restaurant.  The 2010 graduate of UW-Green Bay has also been an Executive Chef at Cedar Springs Golf Course in Manawa.

Wisconsin’s 2013 season begins with a road game against the Peoria Chiefs on Thursday, April 4.  The Rattlers will open newly renovated Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium on Monday, April 8 when they host the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Opening Night at 6:35pm.  Full and partial season ticket packages and group events are available by contacting the Time Warner Cable Field ticket office at (920) 733-4152 or (800) WI-TIMBER.
