The Daytona Beach (FL) city commissioners voted unanimously Friday to enter into a new 10-year lease with the Single-A Daytona Cubs (Florida State League) to keep the team at Jackie Robinson Ballpark until 2022. As part of the deal, the Cubs will be allowed to charge for parking to help fund $1.25 million in improvements to the historic facility. Read more here. Read press release here.
