Currently vacant Skylands Park, former home of the defunct indy pro Sussex SkyHawks (Can-Am League) and relocated Single-A New Jersey Cardinals (New York-Penn League), will reportedly be connected to the new sewer system being built in Frankford Township (NJ). This is a perfect place for a minor league baseball team in either the NYPL, ATL, Can-Am, or Eastern League. The place needs a little TLC for it to be ready for baseball one day.
Yeah i have heard grumblings of some telling everyone they were buying it, I won’t mention names but I figured it was bull!
The ballpark has been for sale for years.
Indeed, and one major obstacle to selling it is the annual six figure property tax bill.

Are they going to lower the rent so a team might want to play there?
