The city of Alexandria (LA) is expected to soon issue a request for proposal for renovating historic Bringhurst Field, home of the summer collegiate Alexandria Aces (Texas Collegiate League). The stadium was partially shut down over the summer because of structural concerns. Read more here. As as side note, the Aces are looking for a new majority owner.

Too nice of a ballpark to become the next Ray Winder field and be destroyed. I wish a good indy league would pick them up… Maybe the Atlantic League 2nd tier gets them and Shreveport.
