Ports Set to Unveil New Alternative Logo

PRESS RELEASE – The Stockton Ports will introduce a new community-focused identity on Friday, November 16th at the Waterfront Warehouse building in Downtown Stockton (445 West Weber Ave). The event is scheduled to begin at 2pm, with the logo and uniform unveiling shortly thereafter.

“This is truly an exciting way for the Ports to re-affirm our commitment to Stockton. We feel this new logo embodies the rich history and can-do attitude of our city” said Team President Pat Filippone. Ports General Manager Luke Reiff added, “We’re thrilled with the new color scheme and logos and feel all of our fans are going to love this new Ports brand.”

A limited number of on-field caps, t-shirts and logo baseballs featuring the new identity will be available for purchase at the event, as well as online after the unveiling at w http://www.stocktonports.com. The Ports Team Store is open Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm, and will be stocked with the new logo merchandise beginning Monday, November 19th.

The Ports open the 2013 season at home on April 4th against the Bakersfield Blaze, an affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Season Tickets are still available by contacting the Ports Front Office at (209) 644-1900 or by going to http://www.stocktonports.com
