As we reported back on Oct. 22, the new owner of the Yuma Panthers from the developing indy pro American West Baseball League planned to change the name of the club to the Desert Bats, Scorchers, Dust Storm(s), Sandstorm(s), or Desert Rats. Are there 4 teams in place? Web site shows 4 teams but none of the teams you can connect to team web site. Tryouts next month with no managers or coaches announced. Here we go again a fly by night league making their own professional standards! Oh what are they?
