The Double-A Mobile BayBears (Southern League) announced Heath Bennett as the team’s new general manager a few weeks ago, but he was formally introduced to fans on Friday at Hank Aaron Stadium. Of course, his focus will be on increasing the team’s attendance, which topped out at 2,112 fans per game in 2012. Read more here.
