“Pink Elephant” A Symbol of What Might Have Been

As developing Tropical Storm/Hurricane Isaac spins toward the Dominican Republic and Haiti, some can’t help but think about what might have been if monster Hurricane Andrew hadn’t decimated newly-built Homestead Sports Complex 21 years ago before the Cleveland Indians moved in.   The spring-training facility was rebuilt in 1993, but the Indians had already gone elsewhere, and no other MLB team came calling.  Read more here.
