    I can cleary remember walking through Watefront Park for the Thunder’s 2nd home game in 1994. The ballpark had not been completed, but it did not matter, we had minor league baseball back in New Jersey for the time in years. The Thunder, along with the NJ Cardinals up north, were the only two minor league teams in the Garden State. Now,six teams reside in the state, along with a few more across the border in New York and Pennsylvania. As the old saying goes: “Nothing beats an original”.
